When we were younger, there was often a point on a Sunday afternoon when we’d head out on a walk. The Outwoods, Beacon and Bradgate Park were all favourites but today I thought I go and walk the boundary where all the new developments have been springing up along the town.
It was a lovely day for it and the walk provided lots of interest, comparing my memories with what’s there now. Loughborough really is expanding, lots of fields are now massive estates and yet there is still, thankfully, many green areas.
